How does the new Vinted connection work?
This latest Zipsale Vinted update will keep users accounts connect to Vinted for longer. We do this by checking and updating your Vinted session automatically. Additionally rather than disconnecting you each time Vinted refreshes your session we will automatically attempt update this if it is expired.
To set this up, please do the following:
- Log out of Vinted and back in solving any Captcha that is needed.
- On the Zipsale marketplace tab, Click connect and let the accounts sync up.
Once you have a connection set as long as you leave a Zipsale tab open on your desktop or laptop, auto delisting will happen in the background and the accounts should not disconnect. (The tab can be minimised it does not need to be on the screen)
You will need to have the tab open 24/7 if you wish to have constant auto delisting. However we understand that not everyone can leave a laptop or desktop open. In this instance please leave the Zipsale tab open for as long as possible, then when you close it and re open the session fresh such as in the mornings.
Please do the following to re sync the accounts.
-Open a vinted tab alongside the Zipsale one.
- Click 'Refresh Auth' on Zipsales 'marketplace' section next to Vinted in order to run a sold item check.
The number of items that sell over night is usually very low, so not being able to keep the tabs open 24/7 should not be a major issue for most users, as long as you press the refresh auth button each morning to keep the account in Sync.

Examples of how the new update works:
User 1 - leaves the Zipsale tab open 24/7
This User will benefit from background auto delisting and auto tools on Vinted consistently.
User 2 - leaves the Zipsale tab open from 10am - 4pm daily
This User will benefit from background auto delisting and auto tools for 6 hours. Then when Vinted disconnects after 4pm, the user will need to re connect and click the refresh auth Button the next day to re sync the account.
User 3 - Does not leave the tab open unless they are listing.
This User will only benefit from background auto delisting and auto tools when they are listing items. The user will need to reconnect and click the refresh auth button, when they next log in to keep the account in sync.
NOTE: A Sold item scan check will only run if you click the 'Refresh Auth' button. If you do not press this button, items that sold when disconnected will not be removed by the system.

Q: Why am i still having issues with connecting to my Vinted or listng
A: If you have 2 Zipsale plug ins on your Chrome you will run into issues. Please click >> chrome://extensions/ To open the extensions page and make sure you only have 1 enabled. We are currently on version 0.0.28
Q: What will stop the tab working if i leave it open 24/7
A: Please ensure you have Google chrome tab memory saver setting off, this is off by default so would only be on if you have changed this setting. As long as this is off you should not have any issues.
Q: Do you plan to return auto delisting to how it was before this update from Vinted.
A: Yes! the plan is to return to automatic background removals. Work is continuing on this.
Q:Where has the list again button gone for Vinted?
A: This button has been removed for the moment due to an update on Vinteds side. It will be returned at a later date. If you have items that need resetting, so you can relist them please copy the item titles and send them to Merilin via support.
Q: Why does listing to Vinted seem slower
A: The system will aim to space your items out for you, to avoid triggering the vinted listing bots. Listing speed is also dependant on the number of photos you have on the item.
