Once you have connected your marketplaces, you can start listing items on Zipsale. This video will show all the relevant steps to follow in order to get started.
Creating a Basic Details form
1. Go to your items Dashboard
2. Click on the orange "Add Item" button
3. Start filling in the form
PLEASE NOTE: You can save the item as draft at any point by clicking on the "Save as draft" button under the form
4. Click on the "Upload images" button and select the images on your device
5. Fill in the mandatory fields on the form: title, description, category, price, quantity and postal code*
*this must be an UK postal code; postal codes from other countries do not work on Zipsale
6. Click on "Save and continue" to proceed to marketplace-specific listing forms
Listing an item on eBay
1. Under the basic details form, click on the "Edit" button next to the eBay icon
2. Review the "Basic details" section about the item - these have been copied over from the basic details form (discussed in the previous section); make any changes, if you need to, and make sure that you have filled in the fields with a red asterisk *
3. Fill in the pricing details for the item
4. For Shipping, Payment and Returns details, you can either use an existing profile attached to your eBay account:
Or you can set these up manually:
5. You can add additional details about your item by clicking on the "Show" button under Optional Specifics
6. Once you have filled in the form, you can list it by clicking on "Save and list to eBay"
Alternatively, you can save the listing as a draft - just click on "Save without listing"
7. Once you have clicked on "Save and list to eBay", you will see the following notification:
8. You can view your listing on eBay by clicking on the URL on the listing form:
Or by clicking on the blue button on dashboard, next to the title of the item you'd like to view
Listing an item on Etsy
1. Under the basic details form, click on the "Edit" button next to the Etsy icon
2. Review the title and description fields - these have been copied over from the basic details form (discussed in the previous section); make any changes, if you need to
3. Pick a category for your item
4. Add some tags to help buyers find your item through Etsy search:
5. Fill in the fields concerning who/when made the item:
6. Review the item price and quantity, if needed, and select a shipping profile*
*please note that you will need to have at least one shipping profile added to your account on Etsy
7. Check or un-check the boxes for listing as a draft and autorenewal. Hover over the grey "i" button for more information
8. Depending on the item category, you might be able to add some optional specifics on the listing. To do that, click on the "Show" button and fill in the forms
9. Once you have filled in the form, you can list it by clicking on "Save and list to Etsy"*
Alternatively, you can save the listing on Zipsale as a draft - just click on "Save without listing"
*note that if you have ticked the "List as draft" box above, clicking on "Save and list to Etsy" will result in the listing being added under "Drafts" tab on Etsy
10. After clicking on "Save and list to Etsy", you will see the following notification:
11. You can view your listing on Etsy by clicking on the URL on the listing form:
