Welcome to Zipsale. Getting your account set up correctly is the fastest way to start cross-listing and growing your sales. Follow this guide to get synced up and organised in minutes.
Step 1: Install the Google Chrome Extension
Vinted, Facebook Marketplace, Depop and Vestiaire Collective require an extension that acts as the "bridge" between Zipsale and your marketplace accounts. It handles the "heavy lifting" of moving your data between platforms. The extension requires a desktop browser (Windows, Mac, or Chromebook).
Navigate to the Marketplaces tab, click on Install and follow the prompts
Alternatively you can visit the Web Store, search for the Zipsale Crosslisting Plugin and click Add to Chrome, then confirm by clicking Add extension in the pop-up.
Step 2: Connect Your Marketplaces
Once the extension is installed, you need to link your shops.
Log In: Log into your Zipsale dashboard and make sure you are also logged into your various marketplace accounts (eBay, Vinted, Depop, etc.) in the same browser.
Link Accounts: Go to the Marketplaces tab in Zipsale and click on Connect for each platform you use.
Verify: The extension will briefly "handshake" with each site to ensure the connection is active.
Step 3: Import from ONE Marketplace
If you already have items listed on multiple marketplaces, to keep your inventory clean, we recommend choosing your "strongest" marketplace as your primary source.
Select Source: Go to the Import/Export page.
Choose One Platform: Select only one marketplace (e.g., Vinted) to import from.
Run Import: This pulls all your active titles, photos, and descriptions into Zipsale.
Note: If you decide to import from a second marketplace also this will create duplicate listings in Zipsale and will use up your listings quota
Step 4: Prepare for Cross-listing (The "Clean Slate" Rule)
Crucial Step: Before you push these listings to a second platform, you must ensure that platform is empty of those specific items to avoid duplicates.
The Conflict: If you have 100 items on Vinted and those same 100 items are already on eBay, Zipsale cannot "link" them automatically.
The Solution: You must manually delete/end the 100 listings on eBay first.
Why? This ensures that when you list via Zipsale, the platform creates a fresh, synced connection that allows for automatic mark-as-sold features later.
Step 5: Edit and Cross-list
Now that your secondary marketplace is a "clean slate," you are ready to list.
Edit Listings: Inside Zipsale, click on your imported items. Check that categories, shipping heights/weights, and specifics are filled out for the new platform (e.g., adding eBay's required item specifics).
You can either select to Save without Listing or Save and List directly on the Marketplace
Select & List: Once your items are ready to list
you can mass select them, click on Mass Actions, select List and click on Apply. You can then select your target marketplace (e.g., eBay), and hit List.
3. Confirm: Your items will now be live on both platforms, fully managed through your Zipsale dashboard. You can get a direct link to the item by clicking on the blue arrow
Happy crosslisting!
Quick Tip: By starting with a clean slate on your secondary platforms, you ensure that Zipsale's Analytics can accurately track your growth from day one
